This morning the whole school apart from  the year sixes, got sorted into their new classes. I am in Kauri again. With Mr. Hornby. I will be year six again because I am very young. In my class there will be Amelia,Briley, Eternal,Jake, Kortez, Lyric, Melborne, Rose, Tarquin, Anjalina, Caitlyn, Ezekiel, Jazzelle, Linda, Mack, Mika, Me (Tora), Sarah, Baileyrose, Charlize, Hayley, Katie, Luke, Maddy, Rocco, Sean and Yash. Thats 27 people thats quite alot.

 we're very sorry we haven't written to you for such a long time. we were very busy working for the exam we're going to have next month. I hope we can write on Wednesday. Here
the weather is getting better, it has rained a lot and now we hope the sun will shine.
What's the weather like in New Zealand at the moment?
We're very busy because the exam won't be so easy, we have to study hard.
we'll have to pass five written tests and an oral one where we'll have to talk about all the subjects we study at school. we're practising for the written English test, we'll have to answer a questionnaire or write a letter. For the oral test we did two works, one about our last trip and one about the most popular monuments in Turin. we hope everything we'll be all right.

In the weekends I went to the castal point for the horse races across the beach we had our cozen was racing
in a pony race out of 3 horses She won 20 dollars. Me and my friend went down to say good race She was
at the horse float we had to walk down the road to get to the float. Once we had done that we went and put

Wow, our weather is cold but sunny,I sometimes go to carnivals but i don't dress up and I sometimes get something to eat from a carnival. A typical food in New Zealand is Ice Cream and  my favorite subject is maths and writing. Our whole week starts out rainy or cold then it starts to get hot. I also don't study foreign languages but if I had to pick one I would pick Chinese and we still have been swimming! Right now it is 9.50am

Hi, thank you for writing. We're 24 students in 3 F and we live in Turin, a big industrial city in the north west of Italy . There are a lot of parks and monuments in our city. The symbol of Turin is the Mole Antonelliana which is very high, you can go up to the top taking a lift. there you can see all the town. There is a lot of traffic and it is a polluted city.
The weather is fine, the sun is shining today and it isn't so cold . What's the weather like in New Zealand at the moment? In winter we usually go skiing in the mountains, some of us went skiing last week and Anna one of our school friend broke her left leg.
At carnival we celebrate wearing masks and costumes and having parties.

Hi,
I'm the English teacher of 3F the class is going to correspond with you. We're going back to school tomorrow after five days at home for Carnival.
Here in Turin it's rather cold even if the sun is shining today. In the last weeks it has snowed a lot and it has been really frreezing. We're waiting for spring hoping the climate will be milder.
We're going to write you next week, I hope next Monday.
My students are studying hard this year for an exam. They study two foreign languages, English and French. They attend school from Monday to Friday and some of them eat in the school canteen while others go home for lunch. They say food at the canteen is not so good.

We're back

Hi , We started back to school yesterday. the weather is warm and we went for a swim in our school swimming pool today. We have 26 children in our class and we spend all day with the same teacher, Mr Hornby. We have our lunch at school but we don't have a cafeteria, we have to bring everything we want to eat from home. Most children have sandwiches, fruit and muesli (snack ) bars for lunch. All the classes at Solway School are named after New Zealand native trees. Our class is called Kauri.
