Hi

Hi , I'm Kitty, there are 5 people who've been abroad in my class, including me  and Mr.Hornby. Today is the first wet school day in Masterton for 37 days !!!!!, it is autumn here. I've been to Germany and I was born in Scotland, but I've been to heaps of other places, only I've just been to the airports !!!!!yes we've eaten pizza before and Masterton has three pizza places ,Dominoes [Dominoes is closed 'cause they need a new boss],Pizza Hut[my favourite], and Powell Hut [I think it's called that] Powell hut is at mount Holdsworth]. English is a West Germanic language that arose in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England and spread into what was to become South East Scotland , and so on
Bye for now

This is me

Hi its Mali again I have been to a European country because I was born there. I've even got family over there. We had the first wet day in 37 days isn't that amazing. I do like pizza its really yum. There have been 5 people from our class in a European country. Do you have Pizza Hut? That's where you can buy pizzas they're really yum. There's a really nice pizzeria at Mt Holdsworth, that's at a mountain close to Masterton. The people that own the pizzeria are my mum's friends, they are German too.

Which one ? Have you heard about Lybia and about the earthquake in Japan ? Have you ever eaten Pizza ? In Italy speak a lot of dialets and in our region we talk Piedmontese . Our language italian comes from latin and what about yours ?

Carnival

No we don't celebrate carnival. Is this the same carnival that they celebrate in Brazil? Last Friday we had our school swimming sports. The whole school travelled to the town pools to race and the top children were selected to go to the inter-school swimming sports next week. Today we had a red and black day, we got to wear red and black clothes and brought a donation. The proceeds are going to help the earthquake victims. We also had a cake stall.
The red and black day was held all over New Zealand. Red and black are the colours of Canterbury, the region where Christchurch is.

We saw the photos about the earthquake and we are very sorry for what happened.
Two years ago in the centre of Italy , a region called Abruzzo happened something like this.
A lot of cities and villages were destroyed and more then 3 hundred people died.

We live in the north west of Italy in a region called Piedmont.
You can look at the map.

This year we are celebrating the 150 years of the Union of Italy.
In this days we are celebrating Carnival , people dress up in different ways and there are a lot of parades in the street.
Children have parties with their friends. Do you celebrate Carnival too?
What do you do?

Bye for now. 3F.
